What is Climate Change
The earth is surrounded by a blanket of gases which keeps the earth warm. The blanket is getting thicker trapping heat as we release greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide(CO2) and methane by burning coal and oil (fossil fuels) fto produce energy for daily activities like driving a car. By trapping the sun's heat into our atmosphere, the earth's temperature has already started to rise. This phenomenon is well known as global warming. Scientific research states that because of climate change we may experience more powerful and unusual weather like, heat waves, extreme droughts and floods.
