Does climate change occur naturally?

Climate change can occur naturally. Climate change is the main effect of global warming. Natural causes are caused by the environment. Human causes are when we, human beings damage the earth by their growing needs and daily activities like driving a car.

One natural cause is a release of methane from rubbish dumps, wetlands and livestock. Methane is a greenhouse gas. Greenhouse gases traps heat in the earth’s atmosphere. The Sun provides earth with warmth/heat, tha keeps flora and fauna alive. In our atmosphere we as humans release carbon dioxide ( we need  to have some C02 or it will be too cold) which we humans produce by exhaling air. This traps the Sun’s heat making the globe warmer. These are a few of the many natural cause of global warming.

A man-made cause is a phenomenon created by human beings.  Several human activities has released greenhouse gases including carbon dioxide, methane and nitro oxide ( released when chemical fertilizer and manure are used in agriculture( productivity for crops). These gases has altered the balance of gases in the atmosphere and is contributing to climate change.

An example of a human cause is deforestation. Clearing land for agrilculture and other uses is building up more CO2 in the atmosphere. Nearly 34 million acres of trees are cut each year. Between 1960 and 1970,most of the deforestation occurred globally, increasing in immense amounts every decade. As we all know the consequence of this is more carbon dioxide released in the air, thus increasing the effects of global warming.
